Attendance trends: The Eredivisie and Jupiler League

This is my first chart since I managed to sneak on a graph making course at work, again using data from the European Football Statistics site  I’ve tried to put a couple of the principles I learnt in action. As a small disclaimer I cant afford the latest MS Excel, so my graphs are done in the slightly more basic Libre Office package.

Eredivisie

The interesting thing about this one is the difference in the rates of growth. Whilst attendances for the Jupiler league have grown at a slow, almost imperceptible rate, the Eredivisie grew more initially, opening a bit of a gap between the two, but then flat-lines by 2009 , possibly the effect of the economic crisis. One question is, if earlier normal growth rates in the Eredivisie  resumed, what would be the effect on the Jupiler League of this widening gap?
